👋🏼 My full name is Constanza Morales Ávila.
I grew up in O'Higgins Region an hour away from the capital city Santiago, in Chile. I am a Designer and I hold a Bachelor's degree from Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. Professionally I am interested in a handful of topics such as Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience and Front-End Development.
🔎 Why did you study Design?
When I graduated from high school, I wasn't sure what I wanted to study. I always knew I would go to university, but I didn't know what I would major in. When I was little I wanted to be a forester, because I liked playing outside in the backyard and I thought if I studied that I could spend my time out in the forest. Later I wanted to be a scientist because I used to love watching Dexter's Laboratory.
Then I wanted to study Music because I was learning to play the electric guitar, but Art, Spanish and English were also subjects I was pretty good at.
Finally I didn't study any of that and for some reason that I don't remember I applied to university to study Design. I would say it was a good decision 👩🏻💻
🧐 How would you describe yourself?
I am an introverted person. Shy, resilient, imaginative and obsessed with details in everything around me. I prefer to observe before I speak and I can have a very critical view of things but I am even more critical with myself. I pursue excellence knowing that perfection doesn't exist.
🤓 What are your interests?
I am curious about technology and old gadgets even if I don't know how to repair them or restore them. I love to go out and try new food. Sometimes I draw, other times I play the guitar and if I am reading a book it's usually a novel. Huge fan of black tea with milk and sugar because it makes me feel like home.
